Guess What I Did?

I rolled over from my tummy to my back today!  It was my 10 week birthday so I thought it would be the perfect time to try a new trick. :)

I'm So Happy My Grandpa Is A Pilot!

Last weekend Grandma & Grandpa Pressel and Uncle Jimmy came to visit me!  My Grandpa has his private pilot's licence so they get to fly out and see me quite a bit!  We had so much fun while they were here.  Us girls went shopping while the boys stayed at home and played video games!  After we shopped until I dropped we went out for a yummy dinner.  I can't wait for them to come and see me! :)

Hey Mommy...Denial ain't just a river in Egypt

I  think that Mommy is in a bit of denial that I'm growing up and getting bigger.  I mean I am 9 weeks old now. ;)  I think that Mommy and Daddy are trying to keep me small by continuing to put me in my newborn jammies.  Mommy finally threw in the towel yesterday and started packing away my newborn clothes.  I think it made her kind of sad.  But, on the bright side that means...shopping for bigger clothes!!

2 Month Doctor Appointment Means...Shots!

Today was a big day for me...I had my 2 month well baby visit with Dr. Oliphant!  She said that I look perfectly healthy and that I am growing.  I now weigh 9 lb. 14 oz. (I've gained 3 lb. 7 oz. since birth) and I'm 21 3/4 in. long (I've grown 2 1/4 in. since birth).  I'm growing, but I'm still a little peanut.  I'm in the 28th percentile for weight and the 29th percentile for height.  The appointment was going great and I was even smiling at Dr. Oliphant until I heard the "s word" SHOT.  Don't worry, I was a trooper.  I screamed my head off when I actually got the shots, but I only cried for about 2 minutes.  (I was done crying so quickly that mommy didn't even get any pictures of me crying.) As soon as the shots were over I got my paci and snuggled with Daddy for a bit.  I was good as new and went to sleep.  Mommy and Daddy said that since I was so good we could go to Olive Garden for dinner. :)  Here are some pictures from my visit.

Look Mom No Hands!

Mommy and I are figuring out how to use the Moby wrap!  We are excited to start using this when we go out.  Mommy is really excited to use it when we go grocery shopping.

Pinterest!

Have you every heard of the website called Pinterest?  Well, it is Mommy's new favorite website.  Daddy and I aren't too sure about it.  If you haven't heard about it, it is a website that has all kinds of ideas for DIY projects, home organization, recipes, and photography ideas.  Mommy has gotten a TON of new ideas for things she wants to make and pictures she wants to take.  Of course that means I have to be her model...I don't really mind.  :0  Enjoy our photo shoot...

2 Months Already

Wow!  Where does the time go?  It's hard to believe, but I'm already 2 months old.  Here is a photo collage that mommy made so you can see how much I've changed in the past 8 weeks.

Weekend Visitors

This past weekend my Grandma Cindy and Uncle Jake came to visit me.  They haven't seen me since I was 3 weeks old and they couldn't believe how much I've changed in the past 4 weeks.  We did lots of fun things while they were in town.  We went out to eat, went shopping, went to church, and spent lots of time playing and snuggling.

Playtime

I haven't posted for a few days because I've been too busy playing and doing tummy time!  I recently discovered a new toy on my activity mat...the mirror! I love to lay on my mat and look at the cute baby in the mirror.  Mommy says that her and daddy are going to be in trouble in a few years.  I'm not sure what that means. ;)

Labor Day

I hope that everyone had as great of a Labor Day weekend as I did. Daddy was on call Saturday, but we got to hang out all day Sunday and Monday. This was a real treat! The weather was beautiful and mom says that fall is just around the corner. I was excited for the cooler temperatures because it meant that I got to wear some of my "cold weather" clothes. On Sunday we went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner. I think that Daddy was a little nervous to go out to eat with me, but I was the perfect date. I stayed awake the whole time, and I didn't say a word. I was to busy looking around and listening to all of the new sights and sounds. Here are some pictures we took before dinner. Don't I look cute in my hoodie? :)

Today was a big day...I let mommy and daddy see a "real" smile.  I saved this just for Daddy.  When he came home from work he was telling me about his day and I decided to show him just how much I love him.  I think that I melted his heart!

Meeting new friends!

A few weeks ago mommy and I went back home to Rolling Prairie so mommy could see her best friend from college, Mandi, and her new baby Braelyn. Mommy and Mandi grew up together and then they were college roommates at IU.  She thinks that Braelyn and I are going to be roommates when we go to college! I also got to meet mommy's friend Liz, and her baby Anna. Liz also went to IU with mommy.
