Sophie

One of my absolute favorite toys is Sophie the Giraffe! I really like to chew on her and she doesn't mind one bit. If Mommy or Daddy want me to smile all they have to do is squeak Sophie and my face lights up!
We're best buds, aren't we Soph?!
Sophie, you make teething just a tiny bit easier. :)

Jumper

A few weeks ago we finally busted out my Baby Einstein Jumper!  I love it!!  I'm still a little to small for it, so sometimes we put a pillow under my feet so I can actually jump. :)
Don't I look like a little scientist in a lab?
So focused...
 Such concentration...
My feet dangle off the ground just a bit! :)

Future Chef...

Mommy was baking some corn bread and she let me help! As you can see, I took my job very seriously.   Maybe one day I'll be a chef!

Visiting Daddy at Work

Now that Daddy's a senior resident his "call" shifts are a little better.  Mommy and I thought we'd celebrate him being a senior by taking him Starbucks!  It was nice being able to get a few snuggles with Daddy while he was on call.

Visiting Auntie Kristen

Daddy had a radiology conference in Chicago so Mommy and I tagged along. We stayed with Mommy's best friend from high school, Kristen, and her boyfriend Joe. We had so much fun invading their condo! While Daddy was at his conference and Joe was at work us girls watched TV, did some internet shopping, and made cookies. I don't think that I've ever seen adults eat so many sugar cookies in 1 weekend. I hope that one day a have a best friend like Mommy's. Maybe we'll even have the same name too! We've all decided that RSNA conference is going to be a yearly tradition. :)

Shopping in the Windy City

For the past few years Mommy and Daddy have gone Christmas shopping in Chicago with Grandma and Grandpa Baber.  They didn't go last year because Mommy had a "stomach ache" aka morning sickness and she couldn't tell them the truth because they didn't know about me yet! :)  This year I got to go with them and I loved it!  I'm quite the little shopper as you know, but I really enjoyed staying in the hotel!  I can't wait until next year's trip.
The Lego store at Water Tower Place...I was a little tuckered out from all of the shopping.
Playtime with Grandma at Woodfield Mall!
 Bedtime stories in the hotel.
 Cheese!
Isn't this what you're supposed to do in a hotel?  Lay in bed and watch TV.
My favorite jammies.  They actually unsnap in the booty.  :)

Thanksgiving

This year I celebrated my very first Thanksgiving!  It was extra special because both sets of grandparents and both of my uncles came to Peoria to celebrate with us.  If you just did the math you were right...8 people and 1 bathroom.  Good thing I'm still in diapers. :)  The weekend was filled with good food, lots of laughter, and great memories.  I can't wait until I'm able to eat turkey next year!

Mommy and Daddy Have A Night Out On The Town

Mommy and Daddy had their first date night since I was born.  They went out to dinner with some of the people that Daddy works with.  I was kind of excited for them to go out because it meant I got to stay at home with Mommy's friend Steph.  She was my first babysitter and I had so much fun with her!  Bedtime was especially fun.  We shared quite a few giggles together while she tried to figure out how to put me in my swaddle blanket! :)  I can't wait to hang out with her again.
Maybe if I smile extra big she'll let me stay up past bedtime! ;)

Work It Girl

Well it's official...I had my first modeling job!  Mommy's friend made her this pretty necklace and she now uses my picture on her website.  Isn't that exciting!  Mommy really loves her necklace because it has my picture and real footprints on it.  If you click here it will take you to the her friend's etsy site so you can get more information about the necklace and other neat things!

Mommy and Me

All dressed up and nowhere to go!  Even in this fancy coat I can't manage to get my hair to lay down.  It is still super spiky in the back, but we kind of like it that way! :)
Don't you just love my spiky hair?!
 Hanging out with Mommy!
I love her!!

Halloween Fun

For my first Halloween I was a lady bug!  Mommy made my costume, and I really didn't mind wearing it.  Mommy and Daddy said that I was too small to go trick or treating this year so we stayed at home and I helped them pass out candy.  However, we did sneak over to our neighbor's house so I could get a little trick or treating practice for next year. :)

Growing

Mommy had another picture idea...thanks to Pinterest!  Here are some pictures of me taken in the same outfit when I was 4 days old, 5 weeks old, and 12 weeks old.  It's amazing how much I've changed in such a short amount of time.  Mommy is hoping to take a picture of me in the same outfit at 6, 9, and 12 months old.  It should be pretty interesting considering I barely fit into the outfit at 3 months and I think that headband is starting to get a little snug too.  Stay tuned to see how it turns out! :)

When the Mommy's Away...

A few weeks ago Daddy and I hung out while Mommy went to dinner with her friend Stephanie.  When she came home this is what she found...
Daddy and I discussing It's The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown
I can't wait for the next time that Daddy babysits!! :)

Ahhh...

There's nothing better than hanging out in jammies and slippers on a cold fall day!

Meeting Great Grandma Jean

On our way home from Brown County we made a detour to Walton so I could meet my Great Grandma Jean (or Grandma Great, as she calls herself).  I was hoping to meet my Great Grandma Corina too, but she was sick.  I was such a smiley girl for Grandma Jean!  I think she thought I was pretty special.  I can't wait to see both of my great grandmas at Christmas time!!
Smile from Grandma Great!
I think she was happy to meet me! :)

Brown County

Every year my family has a tradition of going to Brown County in Nashville, Indiana.  My Grandma Becky and Grandpa Jim have been going there for 30 years!  Mommy has been talking about going for weeks and I didn't know why she was so excited...but now I totally get it!  It was such a fun time.  We got to stay in a family cabin in the state park.  I did a great job and didn't even wake up Uncle Jimmy...just like Mommy said I wouldn't.   :)  While we were there my great Uncle Tim and Aunt Cile, and cousin Ben were also there.  On Friday us girls lounged around the cabin in the morning while the guys went golfing and then we went shopping in town.  That night we went out for the prime rib buffet dinner.  My great Aunt Teresa and her friend Tracy came and had dinner with us.  After dinner we all went back to the cabin and hung out.  I had such a fun day that I went right to bed while the grown ups stayed up and played games.  On Saturday we did more shopping and eating.  I even got kicked out of my first bar!  Who knew Mommy couldn't hold me while standing on the deck of a bar!  I did great while shopping, but I was worn out by dinner time.  Since I was so tired I was a bit cranky.  Mommy and Daddy had to eat their dinner in shifts.  One of them would hold me in the lobby while they other one ate their dinner.  Mommy said it's a good thing I'm cute...I think that's a good thing.  I had a blast on my first mini-vacation!  I can't wait to go back next year.  Here are a few pictures from the weekend.  I'll post more once I get them from uncle Tim. :)

Who Knew Vitamin D Was So Yummy?!

Since I'm a breastfed baby I have to take a vitamin D supplement.  But don't worry, I LOVE it!  Every time Mommy and Daddy give it to me I suck it down and smile.  They thought maybe they were missing out on something so Mommy and Daddy decided to try it.  They said it was disgusting!  I wonder what that means.
Just look at all of that yummy goodness in the dropper!
Ahh...that hits the spot!
